With Search Alert emails, also known as Resume Search Agents (RSAs), CareerBuilder clients with access to our Resume Database get new candidates who match their exact search criteria directly to their inbox – eliminating the need to log in to the database on a daily basis and search for new talent.
Recently, CareerBuilder updated its Search Alerts to make it even easier for time-strapped users to stay on top of current, active talent. If you have access to the Resume Database or have the Search Standard and Professional bundles that include our people aggregator, Recruitment Edge, you will notice the following benefits of the Search Alert emails:
Mobile-responsive design: The new Search Alert email template is now mobile responsive, allowing users to view new candidates easily on-the-go.
Link to social profiles: When applicable, Search Alert emails now include a dynamic link to social profiles in Recruitment Edge, enabling users to access more candidate information easily – beyond their resumes.
More candidate information: Search Alert emails now include fields for candidates’ years of working experience, their most recent position, and their most recent company. This additional candidate information helps users sort through and identify even more relevant talent.
How to Set Up a Search Alert:
- Log in to your CareerBuilder account.
- Navigate to the Resume Database and enter your search criteria (including your keyword search, Boolean search string, location and any relevant filters).
- Select ‘Save Search’ in the top left side of the results page. Title your search for easy retrieval, and check the box next to ‘Receive search results via automatic emails’.
- Add the email address(es) where you want to receive these search results. Then select the frequency in which you’d like to receive them (choose between daily or weekly).
