5 Times ‘House Hunters’ Was Exactly Like Hunting for Candidates

Deanna Hartley

Like house hunting, candidate hunting isn’t the easiest of endeavors: Different people weigh in to the decision-making process with conflicting opinions, the process can take forever, and at the end of the day you probably have to resort to making compromises.

However, here are five funny tweets we found online that prove that “House Hunters” and candidate hunters have more in common than you think.

For instance, when you question people’s self-awareness…

Damn girl. You knew you were gonna be on TV. Why you wearing shorts, flip-flops, & smeared eyeliner? #househunters

Or when you wish you could get away with this…

“We’re looking for a home with 6 bedrooms, a pool, on the beach, exactly 3 balconies. Must be painted red. Our budget is $50.” #HouseHunters

House Hunters 2

Or when you shake your head when candidates realize the difference between perception and reality…

“We want to live right in the center of downtown.”

“This seems like a busy street.”

Or when time is not on your side…

House Hunters 4

Or when you realize that the “perfect” candidate may not exist, but you can create one…

Heard on #househunters: “I don’t like the white on white.”
Me: 🙄 Non-whiny people use something called paint. Look it up!
