How the CareerBuilder team mentality supports clients

In an effort to share the stories of the CareerBuilder employees who are hard at work #BuildingForYou, we continue our employee feature series, from celebrating individuality and lending personal experience to their insight on industry trends and everything in between. 

To kick off the new year, we’re introducing you to Season Crawford, a Customer Success Manager based in our Chicago HQ. For almost five years, Season has leaned into her team’s familial work vibe, grown in her support of clients and dedicated herself to our mission of empowering employment. Keep reading to find out what she’s looking forward to in 2021 and which recent superhero may be the worst superhero out there.

How have you grown professionally during your time at CareerBuilder?   

When I started at CareerBuilder, I was a Sales Support Admin for a Vice President and then was promoted to a Strategic Account Manager in our Staffing and Recruitment vertical. Shortly after that, I moved to our Client Success division as the organization developed and grew. But, regardless of my job title, I’ve always been dedicated to supporting our clients in our mission to empower employment. Along with my growth, I was fortunate to keep learning about the company and our solutions.   

What do you enjoy most about working at CareerBuilder?  

I am sure people have said this before, but my colleagues at the company are what I enjoy the most; they are my (work) family. Over the years, we have grown together and experienced new things as a team and organization, and every time a new person joins, they are welcomed just the same. It is a team mentality, and we are all here to help one another.   

What are you looking forward to the most in 2021?  

The Zoom burnout is real, so I am looking forward to the possibility of going back to the office or seeing my colleagues in person as opposed to a tiny screen.    

What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?  

Do not be scared to ask questions. I think we all get this advice, but sometimes we don’t follow it. Asking questions helps us better understand, which overall is good for self-growth.   

What is the last book you read?   

"Next Year In Havana" by Chanel Cleeton   

Who is your least favorite superhero?   

Hands down, my least favorite superhero is Homelander from Amazon Prime’s "The Boys". He is the worst.   

If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?  

Considering we cannot travel now, that is a long list. If I had to pick just one place, I’d love to go to Greece.
