Our Spring Product Updates: New Features for Faster Results

Jonathan Pipek

CareerBuilder recently updated and enhanced several features within our award-winning Talent Discovery Platform, helping clients to hit the ground working this spring. These updates will go live on June 6, and will include enhancements inspired by client feedback, improved search and filtering functionality, expanded messaging capabilities and additional ATS integration.

Enhancements Based on Client Feedback

We asked our clients for feedback about TDP and used it to enhance our products with this newest release. We’ve addressed nearly 90% of client feedback since February, making our platform more robust and easier to use. You asked for it, we listened.

Advanced Search, Filtering, and Exclusions

With CareerBuilder’s improved functionality, clients can be more selective than ever in their candidate search, saving time and making it easier to find the perfect candidate.

  • Advanced Search: With advanced search, clients now have more ways to quickly find more of the right people, faster. The five new search options include: candidate name, email, job title, company name and location
  • Filtering: Filters allow clients to search by Job Title or Company and even specify where it appears on a resume – “Most Recent” or “Anywhere on Resume” – making search results more relevant. Clients can filter by up to 10 company names and 10 locations
  • Exclusions: With exclusions, clients can remove irrelevant candidates with a click. When searching for candidates with a Master's degree, for example, this function makes it easy to expand the Education filter and click “exclude” for all education options except Master's degrees

Expanded Messaging Capabilities

Communicating with candidates is critical. With expanded messaging capabilities, clients can now communicate with their “My Candidates” list (including job applicants, Talent Network members, ATS candidates) inside the Talent Discovery Platform. Clients are also now able to create messaging templates and use them to communicate to both “My Candidates” and “CB Candidates” (all other candidates) to standardize and save time on communications.

Better Greenhouse ATS Integration

Clients of TDP who have Greenhouse ATS will receive a best-in-class integration between the two platforms, making it even easier to search and engage with their internal pipeline.

These clients can now search their ATS candidates from within TDP, view and filter their specific ATS statuses and push candidate profiles from TDP directly into their respective ATS, all without ever leaving the TDP interface.
