CareerBuilder is helping parents get back to work with free coaching sessions

In an effort to help deliver more qualified candidates for your open roles, CareerBuilder is celebrating the return to school with a coaching giveaway to help parents return to the workforce.

Back-to-school season presents an ideal time for people with children to seek out new employment. In fact, a recent survey conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of CareerBuilder shows that nearly 20% of parents with a child under 18 are actively looking for a job. And while it remains a job seekers’ market with virtually every industry hiring, we understand that people may need an extra assist in landing a role that fits their schedules as busy parents. To help, CareerBuilder is providing 10 parents with a free coaching session to help them enter – or re-enter – the workforce.

Almost a fifth of respondents in a new CareerBuilder social poll indicated they’d taken time away from work over the summer to care for their children and 33% feel they don’t have a mentor who can help support their job search. For job seekers who feel similarly, this giveaway can provide a much needed assist.

Each complimentary career coaching session will include a private one-on-one video call given by an expert with years of unique experience in hiring. The online session is an opportunity for job seekers to ask questions including how to best address career gaps during an interview and garner a better understanding of their strengths with actionable feedback and a video recording directly following.

Read the rules and learn more about this giveaway, which runs through Friday, September 30,2002, here.
