Spring 2018 Product Updates and Enhancements

Over the past few months, we’ve made several exciting changes to our products in our ongoing effort to save you time, and make your job easier and more effective.

Here’s a look at some of the key product updates we’ve recently made:

Talent Discovery

Easy Access to Candidate Lists: From the Lists Management page section in Talent Discovery, you can now easily see both lists you have created and lists created for you based on past behavior, like jobs you have posted or intake meetings you have participated in. You also have the option to make your lists private or share them with your teammates. 

Applicant Tracking Integration (beta): Talent Discovery now automatically matches job profiles with potential candidates and will notify the recruiter in CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking.

Fast and Easy Candidate Engagement: We know it can take time to find the right candidates, so we’ve simplified the process of connecting with candidates both individually and as groups. First, with Talent Discovery’s Campaign Management module, you can send bulk email messages to groups of previously acquired candidates using branded, mobile-responsive email templates. This enhancement enables you to reach several candidates at once with a consistent message that reinforces your brand.

Recruiter Desktop

Upgrade Job Posting Form: We've refreshed the job posting form page with a new look and feel. The job posting experience is more modern and we emphasize key data points such as salary information and removed underutilized features. 

New Job Analytics Reporting (beta)Our brand new reporting will provide our clients with an overview of job usage and performance of their CareerBuilder completed jobs on demand. Rather than having to reach out to your Customer Success rep to run a report, all users with job products in their account can now access reporting on usage and performance instantly at their fingertips and on their own time. 

Applicant Tracking

Seamless Sourcing Experience (beta): As mentioned above, Applicant Tracking is now integrated with Talent Discovery, so it’s even easier to find talent that matches your job requirements and source additional candidates.

Analytics Enhancements: Now it’s easier to measure the success of your recruiting process. We’ve enhanced our analytics tool to give you the data you need to analyze the success of your efforts, and report those metrics back to key stakeholders.

Talent Network Integration Enhancements: Applicant Tracking now tracks the source of candidates, or where they’ve applied, for organizations with multiple career sites. Additionally, recruiters can tailor the application workflow for either internal or external applicants.

Multiple Workflows: When your company has diverse job openings, your ATS needs to be able to map out different paths for different hiring processes. This new feature does just that, enabling you to configure your unique recruiting workflows to match the requirements you've set for your candidates. 

Onboarding Integration: CareerBuilder recently partnered with Silkroad Onboarding so you can kick off your onboarding process directly from your ATS. Learn more here. 

Talent Network

Self Service Career Site Edits: Talent Network recently added self-service career site edits to increase user efficiency and help them save time. With self-service career site edits, Talent Network administrators can edit content, fonts, colors and images on template career sites instantaneously.  Currently, this feature is only available to clients with single language Bravo template Talent Networks; however, all others will have access in coming months. This means no longer having to rely on our customer service team to make changes for you. Now, you can easily and instantly make edits as needed.

 

Employment Screening

Compass Employment Verification: The new Compass Employment Verification enhances transparency with real-time activity logs that provide visibility into verification attempts. It also drives turnaround time, accuracy and consistency of reports, thanks to process automation.

Candidate Invitation Page Upgrades: We’ve enhanced our Education and Employment History pages to include dynamic data fields to target information required for a specific employer type or level of education. These fields collect information required to verify a specific employer type or level of education. This all adds up to faster turnaround time for employment and education verifications, increased employment and education verification success rates and a better candidate experience.

New Discovered Employers View : With the new Discovered Employers View feature, clients can opt in to display employment history provided by the Work Number that was not disclosed by the candidate via screening forms. The new features view gives employers more visibility into candidates' employment history.

Enhanced Reporting Tool : We have updated the Advanced Reporting tool to improve load speed, provide additional data points and enhanced visuals.

Broadbean

Diversity Distribution Outreach: The OFCCP is no longer looking for “good faith efforts” of your diversity outreach strategy, but instead wants tangible proof that federal contractors are building relationships with organizations that aid in reaching a 7 percent diversity hiring benchmark. In conjunction with our standard OFCCP Compliance offering, diversity distribution helps you reach that benchmark by automatically distributing your job postings to job sites geared toward diversity candidates.

LinkedIn Account Connector: Now, Broadbean users can connect their LinkedIn accounts to their Broadbean accounts right in the posting process, without having to log in separately. As a result, users can post jobs faster and increase efficiency using Broadbean.

Enhanced Job Search by Location: Companies with the same job title in multiple locations are now easier to find within Broadbean. Previously, users were only able to search by Job Board, Date, Job Title, and Reference number, which presented a problem for users who had duplicate job titles. Now, users can search by location to find all jobs that have been listed in that area.

Benefits Administration

User Interface Refresh: We've enhanced our HCM interface for both employees and HR admins. Now it’s easier for employees to change benefits when they experience a life event, change passwords, view benefits and update their profiles. Additionally, we've enhanced the dashboards to make it easier for HR admins to check pending tasks, see widgets and get notifications that need their immediate attention.
