Applicant Tracking has added an “Advertised Posting Location” as an optional field to your requisition form - providing a more detailed description of a job’s location on the career site. The Advertised Posting Location listed in this new field will replace the standard city/state combination on your career site, increasing the relevancy of candidates who apply.
For example, if you are hiring a retail sales representative at a mall in Schaumburg, IL, a suburb of Chicago, you can now specify where the position is located by adding the name of the mall as the “Advertised Posting Location.” Adding a more precise location will help to increase the relevancy of candidates who apply to your open positions. The more detailed location you can provide will improve your ability to find the right candidate, at the right time in the right location. Here's an example of how this looks for you, the user and for job seekers viewing your job posting:
Above you see where the 'advertised posting location' field appears in the administrative side of Applicant Tracking and let's you further specify a location or area.
For job seekers, they can now see a more specific location that you've specified in this field.
Please note that “Advertised Posting Location” will not automatically appear within Applicant Tracking.
