Talentstream Recruit: System Enhancements from Candidate Management to Apply Form Templates

December 19, 2016

December 2016 Release Update

We’re wrapping up 2016 with some enhancements to your ATS solution that will set you up for success in 2017. In an effort to continually improve our applicant tracking system, Talentstream Recruit, we’ve listened to your feedback and made some improvements from creating a requisition faster with apply form templates to automatically dispositioning candidates who apply to the same listing multiple times and more.

Here are new features and enhancements in Talentstream Recruit you should know about:

(1) Apply form templates are now available in your applicant tracking system. Templates for creating a job application can be saved for those positions you hire for frequently. If you’re a user who recruits for the same positions this feature will make your job easier. Now you can save a job description - for a sales associate, engineer, product manager, etc. – and select the template you wish to use in the drop down to populate the fields in Build/ Edit Apply Form. These templates can be set up and attached at the standard job template, which means we’re saving you a lot of time by not starting with the default application form.

Select the template you configured in the drop down menu, which will populate the fields of the application form for those positions you hire for frequently.

This feature will be automatically turned on in Versions 4.0 and higher.

(2) Now you can view screener scores at the requisition level. You will now have the ability to view a candidate’s score achieved on screener questions at the requisition level on any candidate list page. Formerly, you could only see the candidate’s average screener score; therefore, if a candidate applied to multiple listings with screener questions you wouldn’t be able to see their score for each position. Now, you can determine at a glance how qualified a candidate is for a particular role based on their screener score at the requisition level – know if they earned a score of 100 on one application and a score of 60 on another. Our goal with this enhancement is to bring you more insights on the candidates in your database.

Notice the screener scores at the requisition level under the candidate’s name; the average screener score can still be displayed on the far right.

This feature will be automatically turned on in Versions 4.0 and higher.

(3)Automatically disposition candidates who apply to the same requisition multiple times. If you’re a user who frequently finds duplicate applications on a requisition then you’ll want to configure this new feature into your system. Often overzealous candidates will submit an application to the same posting over and over again. We’re saving you time and the agony of having to disposition each application with our new “auto knockout” feature. Don’t worry about having to identify a duplicate application and manually removing them from consideration – we got you covered. If you’ve marked a candidate “unqualified” previously the system can be configured to recognize this action and automatically unqualify that applicant for each new application they submit to this requisition.

Here you can see a candidate, John Smith, who applied for the same position twice; he was automatically marked unqualified on the candidate list page for each application. The dispositioning reason will be standard and system will display text, “Duplicate Candidate.”

This feature will need to be configured in Versions 4.0 and higher. See contact info below.

In addition to these new system updates, you may also want to check out the additional columns added to the Hired Report: Requisition ID and Time to Hire. We’re bringing you the analytics needed to determine ROI at the requisition level.

This report will be automatically enhanced in Versions 4.0 and higher.
