As one of the largest independent technology companies providing “hello to hire™” human resources solutions to global customers, it is imperative for CareerBuilder to provide a secure, safe digital ecosystem for job seekers and employers alike.

It’s no small responsibility, and as CareerBuilder’s Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer, Anthony Dupree has provided the insight and leadership necessary to meet today’s security challenges.

And Dupree’s work has not gone unnoticed – CareerBuilder is very proud to announce that Anthony Dupree has been awarded the Certified Chief Information Security Officer Award in the CCISO of the Year category.

Dupree's Role Within CareerBuilder

Dupree was hired to this role – one of the first of its kind in the industry –  in December of last year, and is responsible for directing CareerBuilder’s global IT and information security vision, policies and program. He oversees infrastructure, development opportunities, cloud and security to ensure users and clients are protected by a state-of-the-art digital defense.

The Certified CISO Awards are run by the EC-Council, the world’s largest cyber security technical certification body. The awards are meant to recognize and celebrate executives around the world who are working to improve the information security of their respective organizations.

“Being recognized with the Certified CISO Award is an honor, and I feel privileged to be among such talented leaders in the industry,” commented Dupree. “This acknowledgment underscores my commitment to making sure that CareerBuilder’s stakeholders are protected in a safe ecosystem and to guard against cyber threats. Creating and upholding a multi-layer defense model that combines the power of operations, people and technology has been a top priority, and I look forward to continuing to uphold and build upon our system to maintain our strong position.”

Dupree is a decorated Army Reserve Officer, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after 28 years of service. He received the Bronze Star for Operation Iraqi Freedom Award – the second highest award for any soldier to receive, in addition to numerous other awards.
